i-Park Card

Does this sound familiar? You’re leaving the parking garage and realize you forgot to stop by the ATM. You spend the next five minutes searching through your car looking for spare change. The City of Lincoln Parking Services Division doesn’t want you to waste your time so we created the i-Park card. It’s a fast and convenient way to park downtown.

What is the i-Park Card?

It is a prepaid, value card used each time you enter and exit the parking facilities. It eliminates the need for cash and check payments as well as speeds up the time it takes to exit the garage.

Where can I get an i-Park Card?

You can pick up your i-Park card at any participating merchant, the Parking Office or any staffed City garage.

How do I activate my i-Park Card?

Log on to the ePay web page. Register the card and the amount of value of your choice.

How do I use my i-Park Card?

Once your card is activated, swipe your card when you enter and exit a garage. Upon exit, the time spent in the garage is calculated and the appropriate fee is deducted from your balance.

How much does i-Park cost?

i-Park participants receive a 15% discount on parking. Following are the available increments and the discounted rate.

Cards are valid, and regular rates apply, at the following facilities:

Carriage Park 11th & L Streets
Center Park 11th & N Streets
Cornhusker Square   12th & L Streets

Lumberworks Lot   7th & O Streets
Market Place 10th & Q Streets
Que Place 11th & Q Streets
University Square 14th & P Streets

Participants will have access to these facilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with subject to availability.

Can I add more value to the card?

Yes, simply return to the Parking Card website and load more money onto your card.

Why does my i-Park card say “unreadable” when I try to use it?

The magnetic strip on your card is very sensitive and should be kept away from magnets or magnetic surfaces such as credit cards or cell phones. When you swipe the card and the message you get is “unreadable,” your card has been de-magnetized. Please stop by the Parking Office to replace it.

Will these cards work on Husker Football Saturdays?

Validated or discounted parking is not allowed on Husker Football Saturdays.

Will the cards work for Lied Events?

Yes, the cards can be used for Lied events and special event rates will apply.

What if I lose my i-Park Card?

If your card is lost or damaged, a new one can be issued at the City of Lincoln Parking Office. The City of Lincoln Parking is not liable for stolen value any card. The value of these cards is neither transferable nor refundable.

Note: Please keep cards away from magnets or magnetic surfaces.

Can I be refunded for parking I do not use?

No refunds will be issued for any unused value on your i-Park card.
