What is the Student Park card?

What do I do when my card balance is lower than $10?

If your balance is below $10, you will need to take a ticket and talk to the attendant when you leave. The amount will be manually deducted from your card. This serves as a reminder that you will need to reload your card at the main Parking Office.

Why does my Student Parking Card say “unreadable” when I try to use it?

The magnetic strip on your card is very sensitive and should be kept away from magnets or magnetic surfaces such as credit cards or cell phones. When you swipe the card and the message you get is “unreadable,” your card has been de-magnetized. Stop by the main Parking Office to replace your card.

No refunds on lost or stolen cards.

If your card is lost or stolen, a new one can be issued at the main Parking Office. A student I.D. and class schedule with your name must be shown in order to receive a new card.

Can I be refunded for parking I do not use?

No refunds will be issued for any unused value on your Student Park card. The value of the card is not transferable to any other cards or accounts.
